Our Oak hardwood has a certified low moisture content of less than 20%, which makes them ideal for use in all log burning stoves. Our firewood is 100% natural and is produced from sustainably managed Irish woodlands.

We supply handy 10kg net bags available online in pallets of 6 bags or for pick up from our premises in Causeway, Co. Kerry but most customers can also buy in 1m³ bulk bags or 1.3m³ jumbo bags which we deliver to your home/premises, nationwide.

We only use Oak hardwoods. There are a number of benefits to burning hardwood compared to softwood.

Burning hardwood provides more heat than burning the same volume of softwood. The density of softwood is approximately a third or less than that of hardwood at the same moisture content which means it can burn up to three times as long as softwood, therefore this means you require three times as much softwood to produce the same amount of heat as hardwood, provided always it is low in moisture content.

One of the big advantages of Hardwood isb that it burns longer due to its higher density which saves money over faster burning softwood.​
